Building Our Future

In October 2011 GFCLT broke ground on the first CLT home in North Dakota.

Located at 222 Cottonwood in Grand Forks’ Historic Near South End, this home was built with Universal Design principles in mind, making it equally functional for those with and those without disabilities.

GFCLT’s goal in 2013 is to add at least 4 homes to its portfolio through construction. These homes are located in the Near South Side Neighborhood. As an organization, GFCLT is committed to revitalizing formerly thriving neighborhoods in Grand Forks, thus the organization looks forward to acquiring a number of historic properties. GFCLT is committed to providing affordable homes for families in Grand Forks County, providing mortgage rates of no more than 30% of a family’s gross monthly income at the time they purchase.
